The mission of the Office of the Prime Minister - Communications (OPM-C) is to promote open government, through centralized, timely and accurate communication to engage and empower citizens. The vision of the OPM-C is to be the leader in, credible government and public information. The following are divisions of the OPM-C: Government Communications Division, Government Printery, Information Division, Freedom of Information and National Archives. The following are State Agencies of the OPM-C: Trinidad and Tobago Television, National Library and Information System Authority and Board of Film Censors

The Office of the Prime Minister provides professional and other support to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet and is responsible for co-ordinating the implement of decisions taken by the Prime Minister and Cabinet in order to ensure and promote the effective and efficient conduct of business of the Government.
