The South-West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) was established as part of the Health Sector Reform Programme in 1994 under the Regional Health Authorities Act, Chapter 29.05.
The SWRHA serves an estimated population of 600,000. The SWRHA offers a myriad of healthcare services encompassing primary, secondary and tertiary care.
Its mission is to promote wellness and provide compassionate, cost effective, customer-focused health care to the people of the South-West region.
