The Ministry of Land and Legal Affairs plays a critical role in the administration and management of Trinidad and Tobagos land resources and legal registration systems. Through our various divisions and agencies, we work to ensure that the systems governing land, property, business registration, and intellectual property are efficient, transparent, and accessible to the public.
Our mandate supports national development by providing essential services such as land registration, the valuation of property, the protection of intellectual property rights, the registration of companies and civil events (births, deaths and marriages), and the revision and publication of the Laws of Trinidad and Tobago. These functions are fundamental to creating a secure environment for citizens, businesses, and investors.
