Job Description
The incumbent has overall responsibility for the effective and efficient execution of the human resource management function and for ensuring that human resource initiatives are aimed at enhancing and modernizing Human Resource Management practices and systems within the Trinidad and Tobago Association for the Hearing Impaired.<br><br>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; has overall responsibility for the effective and efficient execution of the HRM function<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ensures that HR initiatives are aimed at enhancing and modernizing HRM practices and systems within TTAHI<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensures that the organization is optimally staffed with competent employees in alignment with the approved organization structure<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prepares various documents such as reports, briefs, cabinet/Ministerial Notes, internal notes, circulars, memoranda, related to HRM matters and makes presentations as required<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Supports the General Manager in handling employee grievances, conflict resolution and all industrial/employee relations matters, in accordance with labour laws and good industrial relations principles and practices.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maintains oversight for employee performance management, ensuring the process is effective, objective, evidence based and developmental.<br><br>
Key Competency
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or Social Science from a recognized University.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Specialized certification in HRM principles, procedures, and systems.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Post graduate qualifications would be an asset.<br><br>
