Job Description
The Audit Manager is responsible for assessing and reporting on the appropriateness, effectiveness, and efficiency of the systems of internal control, and determines whether the governance processes ensure compliance with policies, standards, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<p> Provides leadership and accounting guidance on assessment and reports on the Companys management of financial, accounting, compliance, business and technology risks and produces recommendations designed to strengthen the control environment and to improve operation efficiency. </p><p> Analyses business processes to remove inefficiencies that may expose the Company to operational risks.</p><p> Develops annual risk-based internal audit plans, considering Managements input, and submitting to the Audit Committee for approval. Develops time/cost budget for each audit review. </p><p> Identifies risk areas and related controls and prepares a detailed risk-based audit programme inclusive of the scope and objectives. </p><p> To oversee and manage the execution of audit projects covering operational and financial processes. </p><p> Prepares and/or presents periodic Audit Committee/Management status reports on actual activity against planned and reasons for any variance. </p><p> Perform other related duties as required.</p>

<p> Strong understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards or any other standards required by Government. </p><p> Key knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Systems. </p><p> Strong ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. </p><p> Strong analytical capability.
