It continues to plan for the future by successfully investing in new technologies and innovations to support the ever-changing needs of its customers. <div>The organization is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to drive strategic IT related and business projects. </div><div>The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple high-impact projects, ensuring that objectives are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget. </div><div>The Project Manager acts as a central coordination point within the Office of the CEO, ensuring strategic visibility, alignment, and accountability across all major initiatives. </div><div><b>Education and Training </b></div><div> Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field </div><div> Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP) required. </div><div> Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset. </div><div> Any relevant combination of qualification, training and experience would be considered. </div><div><b>Experience requirements </b></div><div> At least 5 years in project management. </div><div> Experience in the financial industry strongly preferred. </div><div> Proven track record in process reengineering and IT projects implementation would be considered an asset. </div><div> Experience working with regulatory bodies and implementing audit recommendations would be considered an asset. </div><div> Experience in managing multi-vendor environments or outsourced technical services. </div><div> Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools </div><div><br></div>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<b>Project Planning and Initiation </b><div> Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with the </div><div> In consultation with relevant stakeholders, develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, resource requirements, and budget estimates. </div><div> Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues. </div><div> Prepare project charters and obtain the necessary approvals to initiate project execution. </div><div> Conduct feasibility assessments and prepare business cases where required. </div><div>Project Execution </div><div> Lead the implementation of IT applications, infrastructure projects, business efficiency projects and other strategic initiatives. </div><div> Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. </div><div> Monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. </div><div> Manage approved changes to project scope, schedules, and costs through established governance processes. </div><div>Quality Assurance </div><div> Establish and maintain project quality standards. </div><div> Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. </div><div> Ensure deliverables meet defined quality criteria and stakeholder expectations. </div><div> Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary </div><div>Stakeholder Engagement </div><div> Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project and organizational goals. </div><div> Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, share updates, and solicit feedback. </div><div> Maintain open, transparent, and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. </div><div> Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate issues promptly to the relevant area. </div><div>Change Management </div><div> Develop and implement change management strategies to support adoption of new systems, processes, and structures. </div><div> Foster stakeholder buy-in and ensure smooth transitions from project delivery to operational integration </div><div> Develop communication plans and support the adoption of new behaviours, tools, and processes. </div><div>Post Implementation Support </div><div> Conduct post-implementation reviews (PIR) to evaluate outcomes, benefits and improvement opportunities. </div><div> Ensure comprehensive documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer are completed. </div><div> Monitor post-implementation performance and address any emerging issues. </div><div>Performance Monitoring and Reporting </div><div> Provide support in evaluating the effectiveness and alignment of strategic projects. </div><div> Track and evaluate project performance using appropriate tools, KPIs, and methodologies. </div><div> Provide timely progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies as required. </div><div><br></div>
