Job Description
<p>A leading organisation in the Credit Union Sector is seeking to recruit a Manager Human Resources. </p><p>The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR functions to support the Credit Unions strategic objectives. This includes oversight of recruitment, performance management, training, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations, occupational health and safety, and compliance with labour laws and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will partner with the CEO, Board of Directors, and leadership team to drive organizational culture, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. He/she will also provide leadership and direction to the HR team, ensuring effective delivery of HR services and continuous capability development.</p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">The ideal candidate will have:</span></p><p>Post Graduate Qualification in a related field.</p><p>At a minimum a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration or other Social Science discipline<p>Professional Certification in Industrial Relations. </p><div>Certification in Occupational Safety &amp; Health (OSH) / Health &amp; Safety would be considered an asset.</div><div>Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in Human Resources. </div><div>At least 3 years experience in a leadership role within the HR field. </div><div>Prior practical experience in Industrial Relations or operating within a unionized environment. </div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Strong working knowledge of modern HR practices and IR laws and regulations.</span></div><div>Experience or familiarity with Credit Union management and philosophy will be considered an asset.</div><div><br></div></p>
