Job Description
The Production &amp; Operations Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for all film, television, digital media, and live content productions. The role is responsible for aligning creative output with organizational objectives, ensuring productions are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry, legal, and safety standards relevant to Trinidad &amp; Tobago and the wider Caribbean market. <div>This position acts as the operational bridge between executive leadership, creative teams, technical operations, and external stakeholders, ensuring sustainable production systems, efficient resource utilization, and continuous improvement across the production lifecycle. </div><div><br></div>

Key Competencies
Oversee end-of-the-end production operations for film, television, digital, and live productions <div> Ensure all productions meet creative, technical, and broadcast/delivery standards </div><div> Monitor production progress and provide regular reports to executive leadership </div><div> Implement contingency plans to address operational disruptions, including weather, technical failures, or staffing issues</div><div> </div><div> Develop, manage, and control departmental and production-specific budgets </div><div> Ensure effective cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting throughout the production cycle </div><div> Negotiate contracts and rates with suppliers, service providers, and freelancers </div><div> Optimize use of equipment, locations, and human resources to maximize production value </div><div> Collaborate with producers, directors, writers, and department heads to align creative and operational objectives </div><div> Coordinate with external stakeholders including locations, government agencies, sponsors, and service providers </div><div> Represent the organization in industry forums, negotiations, and strategic partnerships</div><div><br></div><div> </div><div><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience </b></div><div><b>Education </b></div><div> Bachelors degree in Film &amp; Television Production, Media &amp; Communications, Operations Management, or a related discipline </div><div> Postgraduate Certificate in Operations Management will be considered an asset </div><div> An equivalent combination of education and extensive industry experience may be considered </div><div><b>Experience </b></div><div> Minimum 7 - 10 years progressive experience in film, television, broadcast, or digital media production </div><div> At least 3 - 5 years in a senior supervisory or managerial production role </div><div> Demonstrated experience managing live and recorded productions from concept to delivery </div><div> Proven track record in budget development, cost control, and production scheduling </div><div> Experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural production teams </div><div> Strong operational knowledge of Caribbean or small-market production environments is an asset </div><div><br></div>
