Job Description
The Human Resource Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for leading and directing the companys human resource functions including talent acquisition, performance management, stakeholder engagement, employee learning and development, and industrial relations. The incumbent will strategically support the Chief Executive Officer and the management team in achieving the strategic human resource goals of the company.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<b>Recruitment and Selection </b><ul><li>Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants. Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel. </li><li>Provide current and prospective employees with information about Policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employees benefits. </li><li>Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with under staffing, Refereeing disputes, terminations, and administering disciplinary procedures. </li><li>Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. </li><li>Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs. </li><li>Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations. </li><li>Develop, administer and evaluate applicant tests.</li></ul><div><br></div><div> </div><div><b>Training and Development </b></div><ul><li>Analyze training needs to design employee development, voice training and health and safety programs.</li></ul><div><br></div><div> </div><div><b>Performance Management </b></div><ul><li>Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals and absenteeism rates. </li><li>Oversee the evaluation, classification and rating of occupations and job positions</li><li>Conduct Company human resource audits, identifying current and forecasted manpower needs and areas for improvement across all HR functions while ensuring that the Company is in compliance with legal and statutory requirements. </li><li>Establish and oversee the HR department, while managing, motivating, appraising training and coaching departmental staff. </li><li>Upgrade job requirements, job descriptions and standards of performance of all TTT positions. </li><li>Establish a recruiting testing and interviewing program, coaching managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing selection and exit interviews, recommending changes. </li><li>Design and conduct orientation/on boarding and training programmes. </li><li>Conduct periodic pay surveys, schedule and conduct job evaluations, prepare pay budgets, monitor and schedule individual pay actions, recommend, plan and implement pay structure revisions. </li><li>Ensure the effective performance appraisal of employees by reviewing and implementing the Companys performance appraisal system in keeping with industry best practices. </li></ul><div><br></div><div> </div><div><br></div>

A minimum of 7 years in an HR Management role. </p><p>Training in mediation and industrial relations would be considered an asset </p><p>HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, ADR, or CIPD) preferred. </p><p>Experience working with a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) </p><p>Any equivalent combination of qualification and experience would be accepted </p><p><br></p><div> </div>
