Job Description
The incumbent is required to collect and calculate data from field visits and make certain all plans and policies are within the Building Laws, Codes and Regulations under the supervision and direction of the Engineering and Survey Officer. Key responsibilities include the inspection of buildings before, during and after completion to ensure adherence to approved plans. 
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Inspects all Buildings and Areas both in the course of construction during and on completion to ensure adherence to approval plans and conformance with the requirements of the Building Laws and Regulations.</li><li>Assists in inspection and calculations of plans for the compliance with the requirements of the building codes and relevant regulations.</li><li>Processing of Building Applications and Subdivision applications received from Town &amp; Country Planning Division for Approval, On-line and Paper based.</li><li>Processing of Amended drawings for Approval, On-line and Paper based.</li><li>Investigation of complaints of Illegal Structure etc.</li><li>Responsible for identifying and serving, Show Cause Notices, Stop Notices and Demolition Notices.</li><li>Assists in providing information /report to engineers, architects, owners and the public on matters regarding building requirements and structural applications of codes.</li><li><div><br></div></li></ul>
