Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, supervising staff and ensuring the preparation of timely, accurate and reliable accounts for effective decision making.  
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<p>Manages the full range of NHSLs finance functions including financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, long-term financial planning, treasury management, debt management, credit management, payroll management and insurance.</p><p> </p><div>Prepares and analyses monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring efficiency and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.</div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"><br></span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Develops, implements and maintains financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"><br></span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Monitors and supervises the daily performance of the accounting/finance team, ensuring that established work targets are achieved, productivity levels are maintained and healthy teamwork is fostered.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"><br></span></div><div>Conducts financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making and revenue enhancement.</div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"><br></span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Ensures company compliance with Government financial regulations, statutory body reporting requirements, and Board-approved financial policies.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"><br></span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Performs any other duties related to the job function as required.</span></div><div><br></div><div> </div><div><br></div><p></p>
Key Competencies
