Job Description
The Maintenance Worker performs manual labour in maintenance of the infrastructure of the Municipalities. They are responsible for operating hand/ power tools and adhering to safety protocols.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<p></p><p></p><p></p><ul></ul><p></p><ul><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Cuts and rakes grass, cleans debris and removes litter.</span></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Operates and maintains tools such as whackers.</span></li><li> Sweeps areas. </li><li> Lifts and removes garbage and debris. </li><li> Hold blinds while machine operators cut. </li><li> Controls traffic in the event of a disruption in traffic while work is undertaken. </li><li> Cleans drains. </li><li> Clears water-ways. </li><li> Clears vines off fences. </li><li> Performs related tasks. </li></ul>
