Job Description
The Senior Human Resource Officer performs and has responsibility for a wide range of Human Resource related duties at the professional level in all of the functional human resource areas including administration, reporting, employee engagement, digital processes and the effective use of human resource information systems to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Responsible for the Company's recruitment and selection function, inclusive of being a member of interview panels when required. <ul><li>Ensures Job Descriptions are appropriately reviewed, updated and disseminated to employees. </li><li>Develops Annual Company-wide Training Plan. </li><li>Administers the Performance Management System. </li><li>Conducts Exit Interviews and analyzes data making appropriate recommendations to the Manager, HRCS for corrective action and continuous improvement. </li><li>Maintains personnel databases, inclusive of Company's establishment figures, ensuring accuracy of data at all times. </li><li>Assists with the orientation of new employees when required. </li><li>Assists with the development of reports, policies and procedures when required. </li><li>Assists with the implementation of approved Policies and Procedures ensuring appropriate tracking mechanisms are applied. </li><li>Develops, administers and monitors digital forms and related tools to support HR processes, data collection and workflow efficiency. </li><li>Assists with the design, coordination and administration of employee surveys, feedback tools and other staff engagement initiatives. </li><li>Compiles, analyses and presents survey results and employee feedback data and makes recommendations to Manager, HRCS for improvement initiatives. </li><li>Assists with the digitalisation and continuous improvement of human resource processes, forms, records and workflows to improve efficiency, tracking and service delivery. </li><li>Maintains and utilises the Company's human resource information system, ensuring accurate data entry, updates, records management and reporting. </li><li>Provides support and guidance to employees in the use of human resource related digital tools, forms and systems when required. </li><li>Maintains effective working relationships with employees in related operational areas and with members of the general public. </li><li>Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Regulations. </li><li>Performs any other duties as may be required to successfully achieve this job function.</li></ul></li></ul>
Key Competencies
