Job Description
The Custodian is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor organizing and inventory keeping and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
Performing routine cleaning duties on buildings, including sweeping and mopping floors <div> Cleaning windows, furniture, toilets, kitchen, guard booth, etc. </div><div> Empty garbage bins, replenish toilets with toilet rolls, soaps etc. </div><div> Setting up facilities e.g. chairs, and other furniture for special events, functions etc. </div><div> Securing and maintaining a proper inventory of custodial suppliers and other necessary items required to perform assigned duties </div><div> Perform all other related duties and responsibilities </div><div><br></div>
Key Competencies
Ability to adapt to changes in schedules and job priorities <div> Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions </div><div> Ability to read, understand and interpret written information (e.g. operation manuals, labels for various cleaning and chemical agents, policies and procedures) </div><div> Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners </div><div> Skilled in the safe use of a variety of cleaning and moving equipment (e.g. shampooer, vacuum, etc.). </div><div><br></div>
