Job Description
The administrative coordinator will manage clerical and administrative tasks while overseeing overall administrative functions within the Training and Development Department. They act as a central liaison, connecting employees, clients and stakeholders. Additionally, they supervise other administrative staff by delegating assignments, fostering skill development, and organizing administrative initiatives.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
Responsible for all the administrative duties related to projects that originate from or are <div>assigned by the Manager (or his/her designate), to include but not limited to maintaining the </div><div>Manager's appointment schedule, filing, preparation of correspondence, making and receiving </div><div>telephone calls, overseeing administrative tasks, receipt and dispatch of correspondence, </div><div>taking of minutes etc. </div><div> Assist in the development of projects e.g. project budgets, managing invoices, purchase orders </div><div>and inventory reports, scope statements and project plans </div><div> Supervise the project procurement process </div><div> Meet with project clients to assess their needs </div><div> Coordinate the allocation of project resources in a timely manner </div><div> Be the liaison between project team and clients/stakeholders </div><div><br></div>
Key Competencies
Strong interpersonal skills as well as communication skills, both oral and written <div> Must be adept at writing business correspondence </div><div> Computer literate and proficient with computer programmes, i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Zoom </div><div> Knowledge of basic office procedures and using office equipment such as printers, photocopiers and fax machines, etc. </div><div> Excellent organization, data entry and typing skills </div><div> Must be able to work on different projects concurrently and maintain confidential files </div><div> Excellent integrity, trustworthiness and the ability to work in a team </div><div> Emotionally mature and pleasant personality with good customer service skills </div><div> Excellent decision making and leadership skills </div><div><br></div>
