Job Description
This job requires the incumbent to receive and assess clients in sub-centres remote to the main centre. The incumbent is also required to collate statistical data on matters mediated upon and cases referred for mediation for timely submission to the Coordinating Assistant. There are twenty (20) Community Mediation Centres in the following communities; Arima, Cedros/Icacos, Chaguanas, Cocorite, Couva, Cunupia, Diego Martin, La Horquetta, Laventille, Maloney, Morvant, Rio Claro/Mayaro, Penal/Debe, Point Fortin, Port-of- Spain, San Fernando, Sangre Grande, San Juan, Toco and Tunapuna. As such, you could be placed in any of the above-mentioned communities and could be subsequently reassigned as the need arises.  
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"> Assesses the needs and problems of clients presenting at Mediation Centres</span></div><div> Interviews prospective clients and makes assessment on referrals</div><div> Schedules mediation sessions on behalf of clients with Coordinating Assistant</div><div> Adheres to mediation standards and principles at all times</div><div> Submits weekly status reports of work activities of the Sub-Centre to Supervisor</div><div> Performs other duties related to job function, which may be assigned from time to time</div><div><br></div>
