Job Description
<p>1. To establish and maintain an effective Accounting system.&nbsp;</p><p>2. To generate management reports in relation to established budgets and cost estimates.&nbsp;</p><p>3. To provide training to all clients in the areas of Accounting and Financial analysis.&nbsp;</p>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<p>1. Preparation of fixed assets monthly and depreciation of same.&nbsp;</p><p>2. Reconciliation of the monthly investment schedules.&nbsp;</p><p>3. Preparation of SBDC and Guardian Life insurance reconciliations and ensure all payments are made to the respective Organizations.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Periodically monitors the daily cash balances and cash requirements.&nbsp;</p><p>5. Monitor available cash and investments for decision making,&nbsp;</p><p>6. Maintain database for SLDP Accounts.&nbsp;</p><p>7. Ensure timely and accurate posting for preparation of the financial statement.&nbsp;</p><p>8. Prepare prepayment for Insurance, Building and others.&nbsp;</p><p>9. Preparation of interest accrual for various institutions.</p><p>10. Ensure payments are posted on a timely basis.&nbsp;</p><p>11. Provide support on payable back up.&nbsp;</p><p>12. Maintain reliable record keeping processes.&nbsp;</p><p>13. Assist in responding to audit queries (internal and external).&nbsp;</p><p>14. Maintain Taurus reports.&nbsp;</p><p>15. Preparation of COS and fixed deposit reports.&nbsp;</p><p>16. Record daily foreign exchange rates.&nbsp;</p><p>17. Maintain UTC bond liability reports.&nbsp;</p><p>18. Any other assigned duties.&nbsp;</p>
Key Competencies
<p>1. First Degree in Accounting or ACCA Level II or equivalent&nbsp;</p><p>2. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Accounting/Administrative field&nbsp;</p><p>3. Computer Literate&nbsp;</p>
