Job Description
To assist in the positioning of the ADB as a One Stop Shop that provides relevant products and services and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders to facilitate timely, smooth and effective service to an increasing customer base.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
1)&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To assist in the development and implementation of policies and plans related to the formation and management of strategic alliances and new product development.</span><div>2)&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To pro-actively undertake activities related to the formation and maintenance of strategic relationships including attendance at meetings, identification of business opportunities and conversion of these opportunities into viable products and services.</span></div><div>3)&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To co-ordinate the monitoring of the operations of the Branches as they relate to the generation of new business and relevant reporting to recommend appropriate changes to respond to external variations to allow for the achievement of the related strategic objectives.</span></div><div>4)&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To collaborate with stakeholders to develop procedures and policies and memoranda of understanding to facilitate improved customer relations and increased business by the removal of barriers and constraints to efficient service.</span></div><div>5)&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To manage strategic relationships by constant evaluation of mutual benefits to ensure their sustainability.</span></div><div>6)&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To maintain membership on all committees involved in activities related to the development of the agricultural sector to facilitate the identification and development of business opportunities.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">7)&nbsp;</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To analyse and evaluate research, intelligence, survey and customer needs reports to inform the identification and development of relevant products and services.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">8)&nbsp;</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To prepare all documentation related to the development and operationalisation of new products and services.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">9)&nbsp;</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To assist in the coordination of cross-functional teams for the evaluation of products being developed.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">10)&nbsp;</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To evaluate the performance and viability of all products to inform continuation, modification or termination in keeping with the Banks strategic objectives.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">11)&nbsp;</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To assists with the collation of information for all plans produced by Business Development.</span></div><div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">12)&nbsp;</span><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Any other duties as deemed necessary to assist in achieving the objectives of the Department.</span></div>
Key Competencies
&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">B.Sc. Agriculture/Management / Economics</span><div>&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Specialized training in Research, Marketing and Statistical Analysis</span></div><div>&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">One (1) to three (3) years experience in a related industry</span></div><div>&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Ability to operate in a computerised environment including knowledge of statistical packages</span></div><div>&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Experience in the area of Finance / Credit will be an asset</span></div><div>&nbsp;<span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Excellent Report writing/Presentation and Communication Skills</span></div>
