Job Description
To provide marketing and research information to assist management in policy decision making and to provide technical support services to staff and the agribusiness community through the collection, collation, analysis and dissemination of information.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
1) Coordinates the preparation of the Strategic Plan and the Annual Budget in consonance with the Banks objectives<div>2) Monitors the implementation of the above to ensure achievement of the agreed time frames</div><div>3) Evaluates the Plans performance in keeping with set objectives and recommends corrective measures where necessary</div><div>4) Monitors the external environment of the Bank to determine technological, social, economic and political changes in the agribusiness sector and the Banks operations and recommends appropriate action</div><div>5) Assists in the corporate image positioning of the Bank</div><div>6) Collects and analyses relevant information to service the Bank and customer needs</div><div>7) Manages the Banks library / Information centre to ensure effective dissemination of information to employees and the public</div><div>8) Represents the Bank on national and sectoral committees as required&nbsp;</div><div>9) Prepares speeches and comments as required.</div><div>10) Perform any other duties as may be required to successfully achieve this job function.</div><div><br></div>
Key Competencies
<ul><li>B.Sc. Management / Marketing, Economics or related field.</li><li>Post graduate qualifications will be an asset.</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years experience in a related industry</li><li>Research technique and applications skills</li><li>Computer Literacy<div><br></div></li></ul>
