Job Description
To facilitate the development and maintenance of a quality loan portfolio by soliciting, converting, monitoring and collecting loans.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
1) Interviews new and potential clients regarding new business generation<div>2) Disseminates information / markets the Banks financial services</div><div>3) Makes presentations on Bank related products as required</div><div>4) Receives loan applications</div><div>5) Undertakes appraisal visits for loan applications</div><div>6) Processes loans in accordance with established criteria and within stated deadlines</div><div>7) Monitors loans that are approved but not yet executed to ensure that clients meet criteria for execution and disbursement</div><div>8) Completes processing of disbursement requests and associated Information technology procedures, e.g. Disbursement plans</div><div>9) Monitors projects and conducts site visits to:-&nbsp;</div><div>a) Ensure that projects are implemented as planned&nbsp;</div><div>b) Make recommendations for disbursements so that Branch disbursements targets are obtained&nbsp;</div><div>c) Report on technical performance of projects and ensure that payments are made on time</div><div>d) Provide support to clients experiencing problems</div><div>e) Makes recommendations for turnaround of projects (rescheduling, refinancing)</div><div>f) Makes recommendations for action to address delinquency.</div><div>10) Provides technical, financial, managerial support to clients</div><div>11) Prepares summary reports - Collections etc.</div><div>12) Maintains Office days at Sub Offices as required and adheres to the stated office procedures / responsibilities</div><div>13) Processes and makes recommendations on all loan related client requests</div><div>14) Prepares demand reports for other Branches - valuation reports</div><div>15) Prepares security update reports for Credit Department</div><div>16) Ensures accurate input of data on the Banks Operating System</div><div>17) To maintain a log book and report on all activities monthly</div><div>18) Any other related responsibility which may from time to time be assigned&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>
Key Competencies
First degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management, Economics, Management or related field<div> Computer Literacy</div><div> Experience in a financial institution would be an asset</div><div> Good communication and interpersonal skills</div><div> Must possess a valid Drivers permit</div><div> Must own or have access to a motor vehicle</div><div><br></div>
