Job Description
Our Client, a leading State Enterprise in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, is seeking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation in delivering its mandate of driving digital transformation within the public sector and enhancing the delivery of Government services to citizens by leveraging emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), digital innovation and interoperable, value-creating solutions.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to the organisation. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly complex environment while engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including Government, the citizenry, regional and international partners and the private sector. The CEO must possess a proven track record of executive leadership, strategic thinking and organisational accountability to drive enterprise-wide transformation and position the organisation to meet the evolving demands of the digital landscape.
Key Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess:<ul><li>A postgraduate qualification in (ICT), Telecommunications, Business Administration, Public Policy or related discipline.</li><li>A minimum of 1015 years' executive leadership experience, preferably within ICT, digital transformation, technology-enabled organisations, or similarly complex environments.</li><li>Demonstrated success in, inter alia, leading large-scale organisational transformation initiatives, digital product development, or national and/or regional technology programmes.</li><li>An equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience will be considered.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><i><b>All applications are welcome.
