Job Description
The incumbent assists the Project Manager in the planning and execution of project plans.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
1. Liaises with all parties involved in the project including local authorities, consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.&nbsp;<div>2. Attends site meetings and inspections.</div><div>3. Reports regularly on progress and monitor schedules.&nbsp;</div><div>4. Reviews all project proposals and works to develop the scope of works for each project.</div><div>5. Prepares technical reports, work schedules, project costing for procurement, and monitor/coordinate with all parties involved to ensure work progresses smoothly and is completed within target time and budget.</div><div>6. Supervise contractors, field personnel to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements.</div><div>7. Performs related duties as may be required.</div><div><br></div>

<div><b><i><br></i></b></div><div><b><i>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</i></b></div><div> Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and contract administration.</div><div> Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.</div><div> Proficiency in Auto Cad Drawing software&nbsp;</div><div> Knowledge of MS Projects is an asset.</div><div> Knowledge of FIDIC or other standard forms of contract is an asset.</div><div> Knowledge of HSSE Standards and Hazard Control Documents is an asset</div><div> Excellent project management skills.</div><div> Ability to carry out oral and written instructions</div><div> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</div><div> Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.</div><div> Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.</div><div> Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.&nbsp;</div><div><i><b><br></b></i></div><div><i><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:</b></i></div><div> BSc. Civil Engineering from an accredited educational facility.</div><div> At least three (3) years experience in a similar capacity.</div><div> A suitable combination of qualifications and experience shall be considered.</div><div><br></div>
