Job Description
<p><b>ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT</b></p><p>An employee in this class performs a wide variety or custodial work such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping and polishing. Work may also include performance of miscellaneous errands such as delivering messages, conveying packages and other related manual tasks. Work is performed under close supervision and is reviewed for compliance with instructions by a superior officer.</p>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Performs general custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, polishing and sweeping.</span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Performs miscellaneous errands such as delivering messages and conveying packages.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Assists generally in the workshop or office in routine manual tasks.</span></p><div> Performs related work as required.</div><div><br></div><div><b>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</b></div><div> Some knowledge of a wide variety of materials, methods and practices used in cleaning operations.</div><div> Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.</div><div> Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.</div><div><br></div><p></p>
Key Competencies
<p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Training as evidenced by a Primary School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent.</span></p>
