Job Description
<b>JOB SUMMARY:</b><div><br></div><div>Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, the Tradesman B is accountable for the performance of specialized electrical maintenance, servicing and repair activities on all plant and auxiliary equipment.</div><div><br></div>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"> Perform less specialized and less complex electrical maintenance duties.</span></li><li> Assist in repairs/ replaces components and parts for process plant.</li><li> Assist in the selection of tools and equipment to perform the required tasks.</li><li> Complete reports and checklist consistent with the preventative maintenance programme.</li><li> Read/interpret drawings, sketches, standards and/ or instructions.</li><li> Assist in the planning jobs with respect to availability of parts, tools, personnel and safety.</li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Carries out all work activities in accordance with the company's health &amp; safety, environmental and quality policies, guidelines and regulations.</span></li><li>Perform any job-related duties as may be required from time to time.</li></ul>
Key Competencies
<b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</b><ul><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"> Three (3) CXC/GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.&nbsp;</span></li><li> Electrical Craft Certificate.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><b>WORK EXPERIENCE:</b></div><ul><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"> Two (2) years as an Electrician in an industrial environment.</span></li></ul><div><br></div><div><b>CORE COMPETENCIES &amp; OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</b></div><ul><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"> Team player.</span></li><li> Good communications skills.</li><li> Able to work under demanding conditions.</li></ul><div><br></div>
