Job Description
The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the financial management and accounting operations of TTT Limited. The position provides financial leadership and guidance to the CEO, the Board of Directors and the Management Team to ensure that the Company's financial resources are managed responsibly and that its financial position remains sound.<div><br></div><div>The role involves preparing and monitoring budgets, managing financial reporting, overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with applicable financial and corporate governance requirements, and providing financial information to support strategic planning and decision-making.</div>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Direct the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, quarterly and annual consolidation accounts, audited statutory accounts, monthly management accounts and other financial publications as required </li><li>Establish and oversee all financial functions within the department.</li><li>Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company;</li><li>Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies</li><li>Direct TTT LIMITEDs accounting and reporting operation.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor financial trends and budgeted revenues and expenditures of TTT Limited to assure that fiscal responsibility and control is maintained and to assure the fiscal wellbeing of the Company.</li><li>Prepare, maintain and submit a variety of monthly and quarterly records and reports related to financial systems to the CEO and the TTT Limited Board.</li><li>Lead the performance management process for the department, and make recommendations regarding training and development towards building a strong financial team</li><li>Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations</li><li>Provide financial analyses, reports and information to TTT Limiteds Management team and to optimize effective and responsible decision-making.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with Corporate Governance requirements as set out in the State Enterprise Performance Manual.</li><li>Provide effective leadership thereby ensuring the strategic objectives of TTT Limited are achieved.</li><li>Liaise and work with the external auditors to ensure final accounts and audited statements are prepared in a timely manner and submitted to the relevant parties involved.</li><li>Monitor all payables and disbursements to ensure compliance with budgets and with appropriate policies and procedures and maintain accountability for all income of the company.</li><li>Ensure that Annual Returns are filed in time.</li><li>Ensure that Tax Returns are prepared and filed within the prescribed deadline. Preparation of Quarterly Tax Remittances.</li><li>Direct the Companys cash management function.&nbsp;</li><li>Establish and update organizational and departmental procedures to reinforce internal controls.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Keep and maintain or prescribe and require the keeping and maintenance of all records relating to TTT LIMITEDs Fixed Assets.</li><li>Supervise the General Ledger process; develop monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reports for management and Board as per set deadlines.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage the preparation of departmental and organization financial documents.</li></ul>

<p><b>Deliverables</b></p><ul><li>Financial planning and budgeting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and funding strategies.</li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Financial reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly reports, annual financial statements and other reports required by the CEO and Board.</span></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Financial control: Monitor revenues, expenditure, cash flow, payables and disbursements to maintain financial discipline and accountability.</span></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Accounting operations: Direct the Company's accounting and reporting functions, including general ledger management and fixed asset records.</span></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Compliance and governance: Ensure that financial records, tax returns, annual returns and audited financial statements are prepared and submitted within the applicable deadlines, and monitor compliance with corporate governance requirements.</span></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Financial analysis and advice: Analyse the Company's financial performance and provide management with information to support responsible decision-making.</span></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Audit coordination: Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the timely completion of audited financial statements.</span></li><li>Leadership and staff development: Supervise the Accountant and staff, manage departmental performance and identify training and development needs.</li></ul><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Competences</b></p><ul><li>Excellent working knowledge of local financial laws and regulations.</li><li>Excellent working knowledge of financial and accounting standards and practices.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Professional Accounting Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CMA or a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting</li><li>Post Graduate qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related field would be considered an asset&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of eight (8) years experience in the field of Accounting or Finance</li><li>Minimum of five (5) years managerial/supervisory experience</li><li>Theoretical and practical knowledge of strategic business management imperatives and perspectives</li><li>Able to negotiate; interpretative judgement; analytical, diagnostic and communicative abilities</li><li>State enterprise experience will be an asset</li><li>Sound appreciation of media industry will be an asset</li></ul><p><b><br></b></p>
