Job Description
The incumbent is required to interview and assess Public Defender customers in order to develop a re-entry plan or referrals to substance abuse, mental health, as well as vocational training programmes and provide attorneys with means to advocate for alternatives to incarceration and sentence mitigation. 
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Interviews clients as a part of the screening and assessment process for bail release</li><li>Verifies clients' status in treatment for review dates set by Court&nbsp;</li><li>Advocates for and helps clients acquire resources that would improve their well being</li><li>Liaises with the relevant Attorney on all information received relative to the clients, including adjourned dates of hearing and decisions&nbsp;</li></ul>
