Facility Manager

Key and Critical Responsibilities

Prepares and administers the annual budget for the effective operation of the facility. <div> </div><div><br></div><div>Manages the facilitys financial resources and provides recommendations for optimum cost efficiency. </div><div><br></div><div>Formulates implements and maintains a program for cost control and ensures cost effective delivery of services. </div><div><br></div><div>Prepares annual operational plans and ensures efficient utilization of hospital plant, equipment and supplies. </div><div><br></div><div>Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs for the Facilitys plant, machinery and equipment. </div><div><br></div><div>Supervises and co-ordinates the planning and acquisition of accommodation and the utilization of space and facilities consistent with the requirements of organizational efficiency and in accordance to International Facility Management Standards approved for a health care facility. </div><div><br></div><div>Collaborates with Occupational, Safety and Health (OSH) Department ensuring that all facilities are in adherence to the Occupational, Safety and Health (OSH) Act. </div><div><br></div><div>Confers with departmental supervisors and members of the professional staff concerning their needs and requirements and takes appropriate action to provide the facilities and services as required. </div><div><br></div><div>Effects processes and procedures for the continuous improvement of the services provided by the Health Care Facility. </div><div><br></div><div>Establishes and maintains effective control of the facility by efficient administration and operation of the facility. </div><div><br></div><div>Integrates and coordinates the activities of staff involved in the various facets of the operations at the facility to harmonize the delivery of quality health care services. </div><div><br></div><div>Assists in the formulation and development of effective Human Resources Management policies. </div><div><br></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>
