Job Description
<p><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">To be responsible for undertaking protocol support services to senior executives by planning and scheduling appointments, coordinating events for hospitality functions.&nbsp; Functions include preparing official correspondence such as briefs, aide memoires and third person notes.&nbsp;</span><br></p>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Planning and scheduling appointments for foreign dignitaries and high-level officials on behalf of senior executives.</li><li>Preparing detailed programmes for official hospitality functions and events.</li><li>Preparing work programme and projections for expenditure.</li><li>Preparing briefs, aide memories and third person notes.</li><li>Accompanying senior personnel at meetings and taking notes.</li><li>Performing airport duties.</li><li>Making airline reservations and scheduling official overseas travel arrangements.</li><li>Ensuring that protocol arrangements are in place at ceremonial, official and other events.</li><li>Performing other related duties.</li></ul>
Key Competency
<p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</p><ul><li>A First degree from a recognized institution in Social Sciences, Humanities or related field</li><li>A minimum of two (2) years in a similar work environment</li><li>A combination of experience and training equivalent to the above</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p><ul><li>Excellent planning and organisational skills with an eye for detail</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Strong knowledge of protocol, etiquette and diplomacy</li><li>Ability to work late hours</li><li>Excellent computer skills</li><li>Strong social and interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent deportment and grooming</li></ul>
