<div>The Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL), the execution agency established to drive rejuvenation and competitiveness of tourism in Tobago, is currently seeking to fill the vacant position of Human Resource Manager.&nbsp; Persons looking for an exciting opportunity, are encouraged to apply in response to this advertisement.</div><div><br></div><div>PURPOSE</div><div>The Human Resource Manager is generally accountable for providing a full range of Human Resource Management services and expertise to the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited, inclusive of the formulation, execution and communication of approved personnel policies and procedures.&nbsp;</div><div>The Human Resource Manager ensures that the functions of human resource planning, talent acquisition and onboarding, compensation and benefits, learning and development, industrial relations, performance management and employee engagement are appropriately managed and administered.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Maintains overall responsibility for the management of the HR team and the optimal functioning of all aspects of the Human Resource Department.&nbsp;</li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Develops the strategic imperatives of the department in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer and the Agencys strategic plans.&nbsp;</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Develops, communicates and provides guidance on policies and procedures to effectively deliver the Agencys human resource strategies.</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Provides Industrial Relations advice to management and attends to Industrial Relations matters when the need arises.</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Oversees the development of Compensation proposals for Salary Review and administers the Agencys approved compensation and benefits packages.&nbsp;</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Administers the Agencys benefits to staff.&nbsp;</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Guides the disciplinary and grievance-handling processes of the Agency.</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Oversees the implementation of the Performance Management system.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Analyses training needs, develops and implements appropriate training plans.</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Manages the Human Resource Information Systems and generates necessary reports.</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Manages recruitment and selection processes to identify and hire qualified candidates for vacant positions.</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Reviews payroll activities for conformity to HR requirements.&nbsp;</span><br></li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Submits monthly HR reports to the CEO.</span></li></ul>
Key Competency
<p></p><ul><li>In-depth knowledge of Labour Law and HR best practices.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.</li><li>Ability to analyze HR metrics and make informed, data-driven decisions.</li><li>Experienced in leading change management initiatives within organizations and managing a team.</li><li>Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Experience with Performance Management systems and policy development.</li><li>Experience with Human Resources Information Systems.</li></ul><p><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 24px; letter-spacing: 0.4px;"><b>Minimum Qualifications and Experience</b></span><br></p> <p></p><ul><li>A Masters Degree in Human Resource Management or related field. </li><li>A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or certification in the body of HR knowledge. </li><li>Training in Industrial Relations. </li><li>A minimum of eight (8) years of managerial experience in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. </li><li>Familiarity with the Tourism environment would be an asset.</li><li> Current certified Member of SHRM, HRCI or CIPD.</li></ul>
