Job Description
The statistician will be required to apply statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret and summarize numerical data to provide usable information.  The individual will also maintain databases and ensure that the data are reliable.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Analyze and interpret statistical data in order to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information.</li><li>Design and implement data gathering / management computer systems and software.</li><li>Design research projects that apply valid scientific techniques.</li><li>Conveying complex information to persons who may not be specialists.</li><li>Provide strategic advice following results.</li><li>Prepare charts, tables and graphs; checks computations; maintains records pertaining to the work.</li><li>Serves as a technical consultant and liaison with education and government agencies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Any other related duties assigned.</li></ul>
