Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul style="margin-top:0cm" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Assists with the preparation of the Agency's Annual Audit Programme.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Appraises the soundness and application of accounting, financial and operating controls.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Examines the financial and other records for compliance with existing rules and regulations.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Ascertains the reliability of accounting and other data developed within the Agency.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Prepares audit reports for submission to the Internal Auditor.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Assists with Audit Committee papers.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Assists and conducts Financial, Operations and Informational and Technology Audits.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Assists in the development of Audit programmes.</span></li><li class="MsoNormal">Performs any other related duties as required.</li></ul>
Key Competencies
<div><ul style="margin-top:0in" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">Individual should be pursuing minimum Level II ACCA.<o:p></o:p></li> <li class="MsoNormal">Minimum of at least two (2) years in an audit environment.<o:p></o:p></li> </ul></div><ul style="margin-top:0cm" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Ability to prepare audit reports <o:p></o:p></span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Good communication skills<o:p></o:p></span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Excellent analytical skills</span></li><li class="MsoNormal">Sound auditing skills</li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Knowledge of International Auditing Standards.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Knowledge of auditing principles, practices and techniques applied in the Public Service.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Knowledge of the Exchequer and Audit Ordinance, the Financial Regulations 1965 and the Financial Instructions.</span></li><li class="MsoNormal">Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act 2004 (as amended).</li></ul>
