Job Description

The incumbent is required to respond to client calls, diagnoses hardware and software problems and provides solutions in a network environment

Key and Critical Responsibilities

<ul><li>Manages the help desk, receiving and logging calls. </li><li>Solving the problems of Ministries/Departments and forwarding the solutions in a timely manner. </li><li>Updates the help desk log. </li><li>Produce monthly Reports and statistics on all Help Desk activities.<ul></ul><div> </div><div> </div></li></ul>

Key Competencies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<ul><li>Knowledge of the concepts, practices and procedures used in the Public Service.</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Knowledge of the operations of the Service Commissions Department, Personnel Department and the Public Management Consulting Division.</li></ul> MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:<ul><li>Minimum of two (2) A levels including Mathematics or completed first level of an Associate Degree.</li><li>Two (2) years experience in a similar position in a Windows environment.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Programmes. </li><li>Demonstrated advanced computer literacy. </li><li>Ability to effectively troubleshoot problems. </li><li>A strong customer service background will be an asset. </li><li>At least three years experience in the implementation of ERP Application solutions in HR and Payroll. </li><li>Experience in HR Production Solution for Government.</li></ul>
