Job Description
The incumbent is required to perform a variety of routine tasks assisting in the preparation and serving of foods. Duties include cleaning dining room and other rooms as required, cleaning utensils and performing other general domestic duties. 
Key and Critical Responsibilities
Cleans and maintains in a hygienic manner work area, kitchen, bedroom, living and dining rooms, scrubs tables and floors, washes food service equipment and utensils.<div> Makes beds, dusts furniture and perform other related duties.</div><div> Conveys and serves meals to staff and assists in preparing meals, including vegetables, salads, juices sandwiches and tea.</div><div> Operates small/medium kitchen equipment/appliances and reports the need for repairs when necessary.</div><div> Cleans refrigerator as necessary.</div><div> Performs any other related duties as required.</div><div><br></div><div><b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</b></div><div> Some knowledge of supplies and methods used in food preparation, handling and services.</div><div> Some knowledge of the care and use of food services, equipment and kitchen utensils.</div><div> Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.</div><div> Ability to prepare and serve food</div><div> Ability to follow simple, oral and written instructions.</div><div> Ability to maintain confidentiality</div><div><br><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
Key Competencies
<ul><li>Training as evidenced by a Primary School Leaving Certificate or evidence of having attended a secondary school for a minimum of three (3) years.</li><li>Minimum of six (6) months experience in food preparation and in performing service duties.<div><br></div></li></ul>
