Job Description
The Producer reports to the Production and Operations Department and is responsible for managing all aspects of a production from start to finish. They are expected to produce content, in studio or on location, inclusive of outside broadcasts, live, recorded or packaged, for all broadcast platforms inclusive of social media. Leads or assists with creative direction, setting or managing approved budgets, writing scripts, organizing logistics, sitting in post, working to deadlines, and communicating with the team each step of the way. Ensure paperwork and technical requirements are in place through the channels of administration, supervisors or department manager.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ol><li>Oversee the research, writing and presentation of on-air original features.</li><li>Script commercials and various features for transmission.</li><li>Attend and participate in production planning meetings.</li><li>Supervise editing of programs to achieve a highly professional product.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in the general production of the program or special projects as assigned.</li><li>Work with other members of the Production unit to generate ideas and create promotions.</li><li>Collaborate with the production team and other departments on a regular basis to streamline departmental interactions with respect to company brand, promotions and assess client needs.</li><li>Ensure that assigned projects meet their assigned budget and are delivered on time.&nbsp;</li><li>Adhere to established guidelines.</li><li>Supports departmental objectives by performing other related duties as requested.</li><li>Perform any other duties that relevant to the position.</li></ol><div><br></div>
