Their duties include answering and transferring phone calls to employees, sorting and delivering mail to employees and greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings with management or other staff members. The receptionist needs to deliver exceptional customer service assistance and provide an overall welcoming environment. The receptionist will oftentimes need to perform additional administrative office duties as needed.</span></p>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ol><li>Perform general receptionist duties in a businesslike and professional manner.</li><li>Greet visitors and direct them to their relevant area of business.</li><li>Answer all incoming telephone calls in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Direct calls to the relevant departments and handle callers inquiries whenever possible.</li><li>Maintain a call log for members of staff who are not in the office and send messages if necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a visitors log, noting their arrival and departure times for each day.</li><li>Ensure that the reception area is tidy and well always maintained.</li><li>Ensure that callers, clients and members of the public are always greeted and treated with courtesy and respect during day-to-day interactions, and standards are consistent with TTTLs established goals and code of conduct.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Provide general assistance to the Human Resources Department.</li></ol><div><br></div>
