Job Description
The incumbent is required to perform a variety of complex clerical/secretarial and administrative support duties. Work involves assisting in strategy and work program planning and implementation; undertaking follow-up activities as required and performing secretarial duties for managerial/professional and technical staff. Duties also include the supervision of employees engaged in the performance of related duties to the unit. Depending on assignment, the incumbent may be required to perform some or the full range of the additional duties of this position.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<div><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;"><b>KEY &amp; CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></span><br></div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Arranges and co-ordinates the administrative and secretarial services of the Chairman/Judge of the Tribunal</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Takes dictation, transcribes notes and edits minutes, reports, brochures, manuscripts, etc.</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Follow up decisions taken at meetings and reports on status periodically.</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Prepares agenda, minutes of meetings, composes and types letters and memoranda.</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Receives, registers and routes incoming and outgoing correspondence.</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Answers the telephone, keeps calendars and assists with arrangements for, workshops, meetings, conferences and other activities.</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Create and maintains a filing system of correspondence, reports, minutes, circulars and other records.</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Researches, analyzes information and draft reports.</div><div><span style="white-space:pre"> </span>Performs other related duties as assigned.</div>
