Job Description
To serve as Secretary to NIHERST Board of Governors and Secretary to the Institute. To assist in adherence to guidelines that will redound to the efficient and effective operations of the Institute. To ensure that Board decisions are disseminated in a timely manner and oversee management of the Institutes records.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
1. Functions as Secretary to the Board of Governors.&nbsp;<div>2. Functions as Secretary to the Institute.</div><div>3. Ensures that the Seal of the Institute is only used by the Authority of the Board and signed and countersigned accordingly.</div><div>4. Records and produces minutes of all Board of Governors meetings.&nbsp;</div><div>5. Serves as secretary to Board Committees as required.&nbsp;</div><div>6. Co-ordinates the functioning of the Institutes Records and Information Services.&nbsp;</div><div>7. Ensures adherence to prescribed policies and procedures in the execution of core functions.&nbsp;</div><div>8. Liaises with relevant agencies and external institutions as required to obtain information and ensure provision of complementary services.&nbsp;</div><div>9. Prepares Annual Administrative Reports of NIHERST.&nbsp;</div><div>10. Performs related functions as may be required.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>
