Job Description
<p>Coordinates and administers research associated activities. Assists in project planning and ensures that pre-established work scopes, study protocols, and regulatory requirements are followed.&nbsp; Recruits and coordinates research target groups as appropriate, and serves as principal administrative liaison for research activities and projects.&nbsp; Oversees and coordinates the provision of staff for the Research Unit and develops and maintain record keeping systems and procedures.</p>
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Develop and manage a monitoring and evaluation system across all training programmes.</li><li>Ensures monitoring activities are conducted on schedule.</li><li>Review and approve programme monitoring and evaluation procedures as required.</li><li>Contribute to the establishment of policies and procedures for research, monitoring and evaluation.</li><li>Ensures smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research, monitoring and evaluation tools to improve the quality of programmes.</li><li>Give technical support in the designing of new program areas based on the research studies or evaluations and recommendations.</li><li>Develop/Initiate and finalize the data collection tools when necessary to ensure program quality.</li><li>Ensures that the deadlines to submit reports are respected for timely completion of activities / programmes.</li><li>Co-ordinate and ensure that the internal studies, evaluation and research reports submitted are of good quality.</li><li>Prepares periodic reports, as required.</li><li>Provide training to research staff and data entry personnel.</li><li>Supervise field projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides research support for curriculum development and evaluation.&nbsp;</li><li><span style="letter-spacing: 0.4px;">Support the Registration / Accreditation process of the Police Academy with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago.&nbsp;</span></li><li>Any other related duties assigned.</li></ul>
