Job Description
The incumbent is responsible for analyzing user requirements and ensuring the implemented solutions meet user needs; Assisting with the ongoing implementation of new PeopleSoft functionalities, of PeopleSoft application, new business processes within the application, promotes the maintenance of the IHRIS system in Ministries/Departments.
Key and Critical Responsibilities
<ul><li>Reviews, analyses, and evaluates IHRIS end user needs</li><li>Prepares detailed IHRIS requirements</li><li>Provides support to end users on a number of issues. Identifies researches and resolves problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for end user support</li><li>Tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution</li><li>Develop new business processes and prepare business development documents</li><li>Review of new application patches</li><li>Testing of the newly developed functionality</li><li>Prepares and tests scripts for newly developed functionality</li><li>Prepares the design document for newly developed functionality</li><li>Reviews upgraded application against prior version of application, document changes and prepare acceptance test scripts</li><li>Communicate upgraded application changes to Documentation and Training Team<div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div></li></ul>
Key Competencies
<p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of HR business process within the Public Service</li><li>Sound knowledge of the PeopleSoft business processes in the HR modules being utilized in the Public Service</li><li>Ability to develop requirements documents</li><li>Knowledge of the operations of the Service Commissions Department, Personnel Department and the Public Management Consulting Division</li><li>Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in modern human resource management</li><li>Ability to work independently with little supervision, and in a team to accomplish goals</li></ul><p><br></p><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in HR Management or a related field and at least five (5) years experience in public service human resources or a Certificate in Public Administration and at least ten (10) years experience in a similar environment</li><li>Experience in implementing and supporting PeopleSoft HR applications in a Government environment</li><li>At least three years experience in the implementation of ERP Application solutions in HR and Payroll</li><li>Experience in HR Production Solution for Government</li></ul><p> </p><div> </div><p> </p><p> </p>
