Job Description
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">The incumbent is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities of a Division with responsibility for promoting child rights, child protection and the well-being of children through Government policies, programmes, and other various mechanisms. Work involves formulating policies; overseeing the evaluation and implementation of programmes and projects; directing the collection and analysis of data; advising on the methodologies to be used to undertake research; providing technical advice; and sourcing advice financial and technical assistance for projects and programmes. Work is performed with a considerable degree of initiative within the context of government policy and existing legislation; and is subject to review by an administrative superior through reports and discussion for efficiency, and adherence to policy.<o:p></o:p></p>
